The Costume of Yorkshire was originally issued in 10 monthly parts of 4 plates each from 1st August 1813 to 1 June 1814 with the exception of 1 May 1814.  When it was first published in bookform in 1814, the publisher had changed to Robinson Son & Holdsworth, so this plate is from the original part, not the book. Accompanied by the relevant text in French & English.
